1. Performance Overview

Portfolios constructed using Cherries’ default research configuration have been evaluated against widely used equity benchmarks over an extended historical period. Since 2018, these portfolios have demonstrated persistent excess returns relative to the S&P 500, while exhibiting materially lower realized volatility and more contained drawdowns.

The results reflect a systematic portfolio construction process focused on efficient risk allocation rather than return maximization in isolation. Performance is evaluated across multiple market environments, including periods of elevated volatility and broad market drawdowns.

2. Transparency and Reproducibility

Cherries emphasizes transparency in both methodology and results. Portfolio construction outputs are reproducible, and performance histories can be independently reviewed using exported portfolio data.

Available materials include:

  • Portfolio weights and allocations

  • Historical performance series

  • Volatility and drawdown metrics

  • Benchmark-relative comparisons

  • Supporting documentation for assumptions and constraints

This transparency supports internal review, audit processes, and external reporting requirements common to institutional investment environments.

3. Scope and Limitations

The performance results presented reflect historical analysis and live-portfolio experience under specific configurations and market conditions. They are provided for evaluation purposes only.

Important considerations include:

  • Past performance does not guarantee future results

  • Results are sensitive to market regimes, correlations, and liquidity conditions

  • Structural changes in markets may affect future outcomes

  • Actual implementation results may differ due to execution, timing, and cost factors

Cherries does not attempt to forecast short-term market movements. As with all equity-based strategies, periods of underperformance and capital loss are possible
